In 2016 Kari Smith opened the Study Hub in Choctaw. As a teacher of students with learning differences, she saw a great need for explicit reading instruction. “It was frustrating to know exactly what students needed but didn’t have the time within a school setting to help these students.”
“Dyslexia affects 20 percent of the population and represents 80–90 percent of all those with learning disabilities. It is the most common of all neurocognitive disorders.” (Dyslexia University)
The Study Hub tutors students of all ages in all subjects. The one-on-one instruction students receive allows them to ask questions they normally wouldn’t in a classroom setting. Our schools are crowded, and this individualized help allows every instructor to meet kids exactly where they are.
There are no contracts at The Study Hub. Every student works one session at a time until they get where they need to be.
The Study Hub helps students gain the confidence and knowledge to increase scores and opportunities.
